Punk rock festivals are back!

Punk in the Park, the first major U.S. punk festival since the pandemic began, took place on Saturday, May 29 in Tempe, Arizona. According to a report in Consequence, 4,000 fans flocked to the outdoor festival to check out sets from Pennywise, Face to Face, Good Riddance, Strung Out, H20, Voodoo Glow Skulls, and The Bombpops.

With cases steadily declining across the U.S. and vaccinations ramping up, a huge array of festivals have been announced in the coming months including the return of Lollapalooza and Riot Fest in Chicago, Tennessee’s Bonnaroo, and dozens more.

Check out fan-shot footage from Punk in the Park below, which shows the massive mosh pits and crowd sing-alongs we’ve all been missing for the past year and change. (Not to mention: water slides!)
