Master of None season 3 to debut on Netflix in May

The last season of Aziz Ansari’s Master of None aired debuted on Netflix a whopping four years ago, but we won’t have to wait much longer for its follow-up.

Netflix announced its schedule for May earlier today and included the tidbit that Master of None season 3 will arrive on the streaming service in May.

The exact date was not announced and Netflix didn’t provide any plot details, but the fact that the latest installment of the beloved series is coming so quickly is great news. According to a piece in London Eater, the upcoming season will focus on Aziz’s character Dev touring the best of London’s acclaimed restaurant scene.

Master of None resumed filming just this past January, after being sidelined by the pandemic.

The show stars Ansari as Dev, a struggling actor trying to establish his identity and love life, and is partly based on Ansari’s own experiences. Ansari co-created the show with Alan Yang, and also features Noël Wells, Eric Wareheim, and Lena Waithe.

If you need a refresher on what happened in the last season (it has been four years), check out the trailer below.
