DONNY’S BAR MITZVAH: Watch the R-rated trailer for the ’90s-set raunchy comedy

Get ready to party like it’s 1998 again with Donny’s Bar Mitzvah, the raunchy new comedy from writer-director Jonny Comebacks (aka Jonathan Kaufman).

Told through the lens of the night’s videographer, the film follows Donny (Steele Stebbins, Crazy-Ex-Girlfriend) as he navigates his embarrassing family, his new girlfriend, and a scheming party pooper out to ruin Donny’s first day as a man.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Sex, drugs, and a dysfunctional family create the perfect storm for Donny Drucker’s Bar Mitzvah. We are catapulted back in time to the year 1998 as we follow a colorful array of characters from the perspective of a hired videographer. Donny tries to enjoy the evening while juggling his crazy mother, his teenage angst, and his new girlfriend, Handjob Hannah. Meanwhile Gerald, the MC of the party, is on a mission to stop the notorious party pooper Val Dho who is attempting to ruin the party. All that, plus: scandalous affairs, love triangles, spin the bottle, and a man with ranch dressing for hands. But as per tradition, all must be resolved before the big song at the end of the night.

The film also stars John DeLuca (Spree), Tricia O’Kelley (The New Adventures of Old Christine), Noureen DeWulf (Anger Management), Wendy Braun (Atypical), with a special appearance from Machete himself, Danny Trejo.

Check out the R-rated trailer below. Donny’s Bar Mitzvah is available on video-on-demand services now.
