The Franklin Electric returns with moving new song “Always Alone” (listen here)

Montreal’s The Franklin Electric returns with “Always Alone,” a moving new song that seems tailor-made for our collective prolonged sense of isolation during this pandemic.

“The song is about being alone inside ourselves in our own little universe that no one else will ever really know,” says Franklin Electric frontman Jon Matte. “I see more and more people stalling on doing what they really wanna do, but learning to listen to that voice and make the choices that serve us best.”

The Franklin Electric broke big with their 2014 debut This Is How I Let You Down, and have since logged over 400 shows worldwide, alongside acts including Mumford & Sons, Ben Howard, Edward Sharpe, and City and Colour. The band’s latest, the 3-song EP Never Look Back, was released in November 2020.

Listen to “Always Alone” below. For more information on The Franklin Electric head to the band’s Facebook page.

We last caught the band at Laval’s Place Bell arena alongside Iceland’s Kaleo – check out photos from the night here.
