After covering a “Joe Exotic” song last year (blame it on the pandemic), The Offspring have announced their first new album in 9 years.
Produced by Bob Rock, Let the Bad Times Roll is set for release this spring.
“I feel like we’re in a unique period in history where instead of our world leaders saying ‘we’re doing our best,’ it’s more like they’re saying ‘fuck it,’ and it’s really scary,” says singer-guitarist Dexter Holland about the track. “Folks are saying, if it’s all going to hell, we might as well make the most out of it, or at least go out swinging. ‘Let The Bad Times Roll’!”
Take a listen to the title track below.
We last caught The Offspring at their packed Place Bell show in 2019 with Sum 41 — check out our review and photos from the night here.
