Paul Jacobs shares a wild animated video for “Half Rich Loner,” from his upcoming Pink Dogs on The Green Grass LP

Prolific Montreal rocker Paul Jacobs has shared a wild animated video for “Half Rich Loner,” the first single off his upcoming Pink Dogs on The Green Grass LP, out on Blow the Fuse Records later this year.

“Half Rich Loner” is a mid-tempo garage rock stomper, which perfectly complements Jacobs’ Lou Reed-like drawl.

Jacobs recently appeared (and designed) the inaugural Sounds From Mothland mix-tape, featuring tracks from Atsuko Chiba, UUBBUURRUU, Birds Of Paradise, Yoo Doo Right, Red Mass, VICTIME, Crabe, Black Legary, Spaceface (featuring Jake Ingalls of Flaming Lips), and more. Listen to the compilation here.

Apart from his own busy solo career, Jacobs also plays drums in Montreal’s Pottery, who released their debut full-length, Welcome to Bobby’s Motel, this past summer via PTKF/Partisan Records.

Pink Dogs on The Green Grass LP was mastered by Oliver Ackermann of A Place to Bury Strangers. Check out the video for “Half Rich Loner” below.
