While most Quebecers seem to be taking the month-long 8:00 pm curfew in stride, a couple in Sherbrooke, Quebec devised a unique way to get around the restrictions.
According to a tweet from CTV Montreal reporter Kelly Greig, a woman and her husband were each fined $1,500 after she was caught walking her husband on a leash to flout the curfew (those with dogs are allowed to walk them after 8:00 pm).
Montreal police issued 185 tickets for a minimum of $1,000 each over the weekend for those breaking the curfew, including one man who was fined back-to-back on two consecutive days.
