Lucasfilm has announced that 10 (!) new Star Wars series will debut on Disney+ in the coming years, including Mandalorian spinoffs Rangers of the New Republic and Ahsoka, starring Rosario Dawson who recently portrayed the fan-favourite character on The Mandalorian.
Also announced on today’s Disney investor call were Star Wars: Andor, Obi-Wan Kenobi (set to feature the return of Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan and Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader), Star Wars: Lando, The Acolyte, the animated Clone Wars spin-off The Bad Batch, as well as the anime anthology Star Wars: Visions.
No release dates have been revealed as of yet.
On the theatrical front, Lucasfilm announced that Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins is directing Rogue Squadron due in 2023, and Taika Watiti is in development for his own Star Wars project.
