Just for Laughs is calling in the big guns for this year’s special virtual edition of the festival. This morning the festival announced a huge slate of new acts for the upcoming free online edition running from October 9-10, including Kevin Hart, Judd Apatow, Chelsea Handler, Cedric the Entertainer, Jimmy O Yang, Jimmy Carr, Noel Fielding, Ronny Chieng, Tig Notaro, Wanda Sykes, and many more.
The online portal will have numerous comedy rooms running content at the same time, allowing fans to virtually club-hop the way they would at the traditional festival. And don’t fret if you miss something: all the content will remain available on-demand until Sunday, October 11 at 11:59 pm EDT.

Judd Apatow and Kevin Hart will present a conversation on all things comedy, on October 9 at 5:15-6:00 pm.
Conversations with Funny People featuring Chelsea Handler is a live talk with Handler just ahead of her first new standup special in six years. October 10, 2020 from 9:00-10:00 pm EDT.
THE OPENING ACT: Steve Byrne, writer and director of the upcoming comedy THE OPENING ACT gets together with some of the film’s cast and comedians Cedric the Entertainer, Jimmy O Yang, Anjelah Johnson and Roy Wood Jr., to share tales of bombing and other war stories while trying to break in as a standup comedian. October 10, 2020 from 6:30-7:30 pm EDT.
Conversations With Funny People – Jimmy Carr & Noel Fielding will feature a live conversation between the two comedy titans.October 10, 2020 from 6:00-7:00pm EDT.
Conversations With Funny People – Ronny Chieng: Fresh off of his incredible Netflix special Asian Comedian Destroys America, Ronny Chieng will participate in this unscripted live chat. October 9, 2020 from 7:00pm-8:00pm EDT.
Moderated Keynote with Gina Yashere: The great comedian Gina Yashere will deliver the keynote address at this year’s festival, moderated by none other than Wanda Sykes. Be sure to check out our interview with Gina Yashere here. October 9, 2020 from 6:00pm-6:30pm EDT.
Comedy Sessions with Howie Mandel: The comedy giant who was way ahead-of-the-curve on not shaking hands will host a virtual talk show with a slated of TBD guests.October 10, 2020 from 7:30pm-8:30pm EDT.
New Faces: Creators will feature the best up and coming talents, including Brad Evans & Nick Ciarelli, Caleb Hearon, JSnow, Mary Neely, and Rekha Shankar. October 9, 2020 from 6:30pm-8:00pm EDT.
Kevin Hart’s Laugh Out Loud (LOL) and LOL X brands will have a huge presence at the festival, focusing on celebrating acts of colour.

Stand-Up Turnup, Comedy in Color: Laugh Out Loud will be presenting a Stand-Up Turnup session in LOL’s “Comedy in Color” room. This event will take place on October 9, 2020 from 9:00-10:00pm EST and October 10, 2020 from 10:00pm-11:00pm EDT.

Straight from the Hart: A filmed version of Kevin Hart and the Plastic Cup Boyz’ hit SiriusXM Laugh Out Loud Radio show Straight From The Hart will feature the successful comedians, actors and writers who have performed all over the world with Hart as his longtime opening act. The Plastic Cup Boyz bring over a decade of experience to the stand-up scene as they and Kevin grace JFL with their high-spirited, resonant brand of comedy.
Today’s announcement is in addition to the slate of previously-announced guests, including Hannah Gadsby, Jo Koy, Howie Mandel, Kenya Barris, Sarah Cooper, Amber Ruffin, Tituss Burgess, Nicole Byer, Trixie Mattel, DeAnne Smith, Jenny Hagel, and Andy Kindler.
