POP Montreal returns with a mix of live and virtual shows featuring Lido Pimienta, Land of Talk, Plants and Animals, and more

POP Montreal is returning for its 19th year with a mix of live and virtual events. Running from September 23-27, this year’s lineup is focused primarily on local artists, given that the U.S. border is still closed to non-essential travel.

This year’s shows will be presented with all social distancing measures respected, meaning that venues will have drastically reduced capacities. All shows will be seated, and face masks are mandatory. Tickets are only available online — no tickets will be sold at the door for any events.

The initial lineup includes Lido Pimienta, Land of Talk, Plants and Animals, Socalled, Flore Laurentienne, Backxwash, and more. All shows will also be available to stream via the POP site, which will include access to panels, an art gallery, and more.

Tickets are available now via the POP Montreal website.
