France’s Gojira Return with “Another World,” Their First New Song in Four Years

French metal band Gojira have returned with their first new song in four years. “Another World” is the first taste of new Gojira music since 2016’s acclaimed Magma album.

“It is with great excitement that we’re presenting our new track ‘Another World,’” said vocalist/guitarist Joe Duplantier. “Ferdinand Magellan once said: ‘It is with an iron will that we’ll embark on the most daring of all endeavors, to meet the shadowy future without fear and conquer the unknown.’ Is humanity doomed, or will we survive nature’s wrath? Take a glimpse into our shadowy future by watching our take on 1968’s Planet of the Apes… Another World!”

Check out the animated video for “Another World” below, directed by Maxime Tiberhgien and Sylvain Favre. Gojira was slated to be on tour this summer with Deftones, but that entire tour has been pushed back to 2021. All of the band’s rescheduled dates can be found below.
