While the ongoing threat of COVID-19 has put concert plans at traditional venues on hold, the idea of concerts at drive-in theatres has often been thrown around, and now comes news of the first actual North American festival at a drive-in.
Headlined by DJ Carnage, Road Rave takes place on June 6th at The Central Florida Fairgrounds in Orlando, Florida. The press release promises “full festival main stage production,” which is usually pretty intense for massive EDM festivals. The lineup also features Riot Ten, Blunts & Blondes, Nitti Gritti, and Gravedgr.
To maintain social distancing rules, capacity is limited to 500 cars, with a minimum of two attendees and a maximum of six people per vehicle. Tickets begin at $50 per car.
