The Offspring and Sum 41
Place Bell
November 17, 2019
The Offspring and Sum 41 haven’t played their own shows in Montreal (or Laval, if you want to get technical) for a while, choosing to play huge festivals like Heavy Montreal and Rockfest in recent years, so demand for their co-headlining show at Place Bell was huge, leading to a massive sell-out crowd last night.
There was a palatable energy in the venue the whole night, with huge swirling mosh pits and non-stop sing-alongs for both bands. Offspring singer Dexter Holland even mentioned that it was the band’s “favourite show ever,” and while that may have been typical rock star stage banter, the band truly seemed impressed by the large and extremely vocal crowd.
Below you can check out photos from both sets via Eric Brisson. For all upcoming tour dates, visit The Offspring and Sum 41 sites.
