Returning for its 14th year, Montreal’s bilingual MPROV festival has a bounty of improvised lunacy on tap this week.
Running from November 6-10, this year’s lineup includes CBC’s TallBoyz , Sex T-Rex, who will be performing their improvised role-playing show D&D Live, Toronto puppeteer Freddie Rivas, Folk Lordz, a duo that combines “Indigenous origin myths, Chekhovian, character-driven drama, and a genre chosen by the audience,” Colour Outside the Lines, an improv troupe made up of people of colour & marginalized ethnicities, and much more.
With tickets topping out at $15 (and many under $10), MPROV is an accessible way to check out some of the best improv talent in the city and beyond.
