Just for Laughs adds Jonathan Van Ness, Hasan Minhaj, Howie Mandel, Aziz Ansari, Rachel Bloom, Paul F. Tompkins & Marc Evan Jackson, and More

The annual Just for Laughs festival has revealed a number of new additions to this summer’s lineup.

Jonathan Van Ness of Netflix’s Queer Eye will return to the festival to host his first gala on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at 9:00pm in Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier at Place des Arts.

Speaking of Netflix, Hasan Minhaj, star of Netflix’s Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj, will host a gala of his own on Friday, July 26, 2019 at 9:45pm in Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier at Place des Arts.

Just for Laughs favourite Howie Mandel returns to host The Howie Mandel All-Star Comedy Gala, taking place on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 8:00pm in Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier at Place des Arts.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend star Rachel Bloom will perform a run of headlining shows at Gésù Theatre from Monday, July 22 to Wednesday, July 24, Friday, July 26, and Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 7:00pm at Gésù.


Elon Gold & Modi will team up for Elon Gold & Modi: 2 FOR 1, which runs from Monday, July 22 to Thursday, July 25, 2019 and 7:00pm at Centaur Theatre.

Australian comedian Celeste Barber will make her JFL debut on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 7:00pm in Cinquième Salle at Place des Arts.

Improv titans Marc Evan Jackson and Paul F. Tompkins will bring their Mr. Jackson and Mr. Tompkins: A Two-Gentleman Improv Show to the festival on Thursday, July 25, 2019, at 9:30pm in Cinquième Salle at Place des Arts.

Vir Das returns to the festival on  Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 7:00pm in Cinquième Salle at Place des Arts.

Finally, Aziz Ansari will perform a warmup to the festival when he brings his Road to Nowhere tour to Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier at Place des Arts on Thursday, June 20 2019.

Just for Laughs runs from July 10 – 28, 2019. Pre-sale tickets will be available starting Wednesday April 17 as of 10:00 am at the official Just for Laughs site.
