Maggie Rogers
MTelus
March 22, 2019
After her scheduled show last November was postponed so she could make her Saturday Night Live debut, rising star Maggie Rogers finally returned to Montreal for a sold-out show at MTelus.
Touring in support of her recently released debut full length, Heard It in a Past Life, Rogers was a whirlwind of energy during the show, flailing around the stage before a supremely hyped crowd, including a group who made their way to the front of the stage to present Maggie and her band with life-size masks, an honour (?) that seemed to confuse and delight her in equal measure.
The set included the majority of her debut LP, along with a pair of tracks from 2017’s Now That the Light Is Fading EP, and a Taylor Swift cover of “Tim McGraw” for good measure.
Below you can check out photos from the set courtesy of April Yablonovitch.
