Eleven years after the last Hellboy film (Guillermo del Toro’s great Hellboy II), director Neil Marshall’s (The Descent) take on the beloved wise-cracking demon is set to hit theatres on next April.
The reigns (horns?) of the title character, based on the comics by Mike Mignola, have now been handed off from Ron Perlman to David Harbour (Stranger Things), which is a pretty inspired choice. Hellboy also stars Daniel Dae Kim, Sasha Lane, and Ian McShane.
Check out the first trailer, a handful of promo stills, and the teaser poster below. Hellboy is in theatres on April 12, 2019
