Pete Shelley, singer for the highly influential UK punk band the Buzzcocks has passed away at 63. According to a report at BBC, “[Buzzcocks] management told the BBC that Shelley died on Thursday in Estonia where he was living.”
Formed in Bolton, England, in 1976, Buzzcocks were one of the first UK punk bands, and made a wave with energetic and quirky songs that maintained a deep pop appeal.
