Heavy Montreal
Parc Jean-Drapeau
July 29, 2018
This year’s Heavy Montreal wrapped up with a nostalgic bang on Sunday, with rap-rockers Limp Bizkit stepping in at the 11th hour to replace headliners Avenged Sevenfold (who were forced to cancel their entire tour due to a throat issue with singer M. Shadows).
Fred Durst and co. capped off a stacked lineup that included doom heroes Sleep, Montreal’s own Voivod (getting their due on the main stage), the punk / thrash explosion of Power Trip, the pummeling return of France’s Gojira, and much more.
Below you can check out photos from the Sunday lineup courtesy of Ryan Stacey. Our photos from Saturday, including Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Tech N9ne, Alestorm, Underoath, and more are here.
