Heavy Montreal
Parc Jean-Drapeau
July 28, 2018
After a hiatus last year, Heavy Montreal returned to Parc Jean-Drapeau this year, immediately following ’77 Montreal for a 3-day streak of punk and metal on the island.
Saturday’s edition featured the return of Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson (who did perform after cancelling his Toronto show earlier in the week), Alestorm, I Prevail, Tech N9ne (a rare hip hop addition), Baroness, and many more.
Below you can check out photos from the Saturday lineup courtesy of Ryan Stacey. Stay tuned for photos from the Sunday lineup, including late additions Limp Bizkit, who replaced Avenged Sevenfold after vocalist M. Shadows was forced to cancel their entire tour due to a throat issue.
