Montreal Jazz Fest 2018 in photos
The 39th annual Montreal Jazz Fest wrapped up on Saturday night with a blowout free show by indie folk stars The War on Drugs, capping off a rocky edition of the festival that was beset by controversy surrounding the production (and eventual cancellation) of Robert Lepage’s SLĀV show, a move that made headlines throughout the world.
On a more positive note, the festival once again featured a wealth of great acts throughout its week-plus run, including appearances by Seal, Herbie Hancock, rising R&B star Jessie Reyez, two sold-out MTelus shows by French sensation Jain, Ben Harper, the return of The Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Kamasi Washington, and many, many more.
Below you can check out a selection of photos from throughout the festival courtesy of Eva Blue. You can find all of our Jazz Fest coverage here.
