While this year’s Montebello Rockfest just wrapped up this last weekend, it appears things are shifting behind the scenes.
Festival organizers have announced plans to file for bankruptcy protection, according to a report by CBC.
“There is a strong commitment to find solutions, so that the festival will be held next year and in years to come,” said festival spokesperson Gilles Corriveau in a press release.
The festival received $500,000 from the Quebec government earlier this month.
More to come soon.
