Pouzza Fest
May 19-21, 2017
Pouzza Fest once again took hold of Montreal’s downtown core last week for three days of nearly continuous punk rock, in all of it’s wide-ranging permutations. With a heavy emphasis on skate punk and ska (our city’s bread and butter), this year’s lineup also ventured out into moody indie rock, hardcore and even a touch of hip hop.
We’ll be presenting photos from all three days of the fest, shot by Jason Hughes and Michael Kovacs. Below you’ll find photos from the festival’s opening on May 19, 2017, including The Slackers (who played their 1997 classic Redlight in full), RVIVR, who had one of the most inspiring sets of the weekend, Mannequin Pussy, Red City Radio, Mustard Plug and many more.
