After winning six Oscars (and nearly a seventh!) at last week’s Academy Awards, the music of Damen Chazelle’s La La Land is headed to Montreal’s Jazz Fest for a performance at Place des Arts’ Salle-Wilfrid- Pelletier on July 2 at 7:30 pm.
The film’s Oscar-winning composer Justin Hurwitz will conduct the Orchestre Métropolitain during a live screening of the film, as part of Jazz Fest’s Événements spéciaux TD series.
Tickets range from $78.75 to $103.75 including taxes and fees, and are available as of Friday, March 10 at noon via the Jazz Fest site.
The 38th edition of the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal runs from Wednesday, June 28, to Saturday, July 8, 2017.
Stay tuned for further announcements on this year’s lineup in the coming weeks.
