Florida death metal vets Obituary are preparing the release of Ten Thousand Ways to Die, a hybrid album featuring two new tracks along with 13 live cuts recorded throughout North America on their 2015 Inked in Blood tour.
Before that album hits on October 21 via Relapse, the band have put up a stream of new song “Loathe,” a sludgy 6-minute head-banger of a track that sounds like classic-era Obituary. Check out a stream of “Loathe” below, along with the tracklisting for Ten Thousand Ways to Die. The band’s next proper full-length is expected in Spring 2007. If you missed our podcast with Obituary vocalist John Tardy, check that out here.
Hopefully the band will announce some upcoming North American dates soon. For more info and all upcoming tour dates, visit obituary.cc.
