Heavy Montreal
August 8, 2016
Plaine des Jeux, Parc Jean-Drapeau
Heavy Montreal closed out its 2016 edition with a little something for everyone on Sunday, from the sulky nü-metal of headliners Distrubed to Hatebreed‘s relentlessly upbeat brand of self-improvement-core.
The day also featured memorable sets by BBQ soundtrack staples Volbeat, the dependable death metal vets Suffocation, and the return of local death-core heroes Despised Icon.
Below you can check out photos from the Sunday sets, courtesy of Jason Hughes. For photos of day one, including Nightwish, Sabaton and Sebastian Bach, check out our Saturday recap here.
