Twisted Sister
Amnesia Rockfest
June 24, 2016
Following the death of drummer A.J. Pero last year, the remaining members of Twisted Sister decided to give it a final go-around before calling it quits after this current tour, which marks their 40th (!) year together as a band. Dubbed the “Forty And Fuck It!“ tour, the band made their final Canadian appearance at Amnesia Rockfest last Friday, playing before a massive sea of fans.
Somehow relegated to the smaller side-stage, frontman Dee Snider led the band through instant sing-along hits including ‘We’re Not Gonna Take It,” and “I Wanna Rock,” with more enthusiasm than most main-stage bands exhibited all weekend.
