Metric and Death Cab for Cutie may not immediately seem like natural touring partners, but there is definitely cross-over appeal between fans of both bands, enough to bring thousands out to see the indie-rock team-up at Centre Bell last night.

The double bill marked the largest headlining Montreal show for both bands, who have a series of upcoming dates together across the country, wrapping up April 1 in Vancouver.
