M for Montreal wrapped up this year’s festivities with a bang last night, from Grimes‘ sold-out homecoming show at Metropolis to a stacked showcase at Club Soda featuring Duchess Says, Chocolat, Country and Organ Mood.

Duchess Says are a staple at the annual music festival, and last night’s manic performance, which included singer Annie-Claude Deschênes parting (and walking) on top of the crowd, will hopefully spread the word about the local electro-punks far beyond the borders of our fair city.

Below you can check out photos from the Duchess Says and Chocolat sets courtesy of Jason Hughes. For more info on the band check out duchesssays.com.
