Obscene Extreme America
Telus Theatre
August 21, 2015
The inaugural Montreal edition of the “freak friendly extreme music festival” Obscene Extreme America kicked off with a pre-show at TRH Bar on Thursday, but officially began with a massive 20-band bill at Telus Theatre yesterday.
Yesterday’s line-up featured the very first show from Exhumed side-project Gruesome, a blistering set by Belgium grind-core legends Agathocles, as well as sets by Putrid Pile, Schirenc Plays Pungent Stench, P.L.F., Hard Charger and many more.
Below you can check out our photos from a few Friday sets, courtesy of Yoann Robin. Obscene Extreme America continues today with long-running crust heroes Dropdead, Immolation, Trap Them, Full of Hell, Broken Hope, Magrudergrind and more.
