The 7th edition of Heavy Montreal wrapped up this past weekend, with headliners Korn, Faith No More and Slipknot attracting 40,000 metal and punk fans to Parc Jean-Drapeau for three days of music and mayhem.

The opening day of the festival featured Korn performing their 1994 self-titled debut LP in its entirety, one of Alexisonfire‘s few reunion shows, a mesmerizing set by Neurosis and more.

Below are photos from the Friday shows, courtesy of Vitor Munhoz. Stay tuned for photos from the rest of the weekend, as well as the Fat Wreck Chords 25th anniversary after-show in the coming days.
