Montreal Comiccon has grown exponentially since its launch in 2009, with over 50,000 people attending this year’s edition. Held at the massive Palais des congrès from July 3-5, this year’s major celebrity guests included Kevin Smith, Ron Pearlman,  Michael Rooker, Sean GunnGwendoline Christie, Hayley Atwell, and Jason Momoa, among many others television, film, and yes, comic stars.

As usual, the highlights were the incredible local cosplayers, which were celebrated at their own Masquerade Ball on Saturday night. Below you can check out our photos from the weekend, courtesy of Jason Hughes. Montreal Comiccon is set to return to Palais des congrès from July 8 to 10, 2016.
