Rhye haven’t been to Montreal since their Jazz Fest appearance two years ago, and the near-capacity crowd at the Corona demonstrated that the mysterious LA outfit haven’t lost any of their appeal since. Made up of Canadian singer Milosh and danish multi-instrumentalist Robin Hanibal, Rhye’s music is an amalgam of sensual soul-pop like Sade, infused with lush electronica undertones. The duo’s sound was emboldened onstage by a backing band contributing keys, violin and horns, among other sonic touches.
