Patrick Stewart set to host a Just for Laughs Gala on July 22

Sir Patrick Stewart will host a Just for Laughs Gala on July 22 at Place des Arts.

Sir Patrick Stewart will beam down to Place des Arts on July 22 to host a Gala during this summer’s Just for Laughs festival. The Star Trek: The Next Generation star is not entirely new to comedy, having been nominated for an Emmy for his guest starring role in Ricky Gervais’ Extras. Stewart has also led his vocal talents to episodes of The Simpsons, Family Guy, and American Dad. Patrick Stewart will reunite with Seth MacFarlane for this summer’s Blunt Talk series, set to begin airing this August on the Starz network.

Stewart joins the lineup of previously-announced Gala guests, including Neil Patrick Harris, Trevor Noah, Jane Lynch, Wanda Sykes, and Alan Cumming. Tickets for Stewart’s Gala range from $44.52 – $91.27, and are available here.
