Calgary pop sensation Kiesza is currently out on her first major North American tour, which included a sold-out stop at Montreal’s Metropolis on May 7th. With over 200 million YouTube views for her single-take “Hideaway” video, Kiesza could easily be seen as a another in a line of one-hit viral video wonders, but last year’s Juno-winning The Sound of a Woman album has cemented her as a serious pop / R&B performer.
Check out a series of photos of last week’s energetic show, complete with 90’s throwback backup dancers and a light show to rival that of any arena act out there.
Kiesza’s The Sound of a Woman tour will see her hitting a number of US festivals in the coming months, before wrapping up at Montreal’s IleSoniq festival on August 14-15. For all tour dates, visit Kiesza’s website.
