The Suicide Girls Blackheart Burlesque show wrapped its current tour in Montreal last night, with a fun and titillating 90-minute set of pop-culture inspired burlesque. The troupe performed routines inspired by movies and films including Star Wars, Game of Thrones, Fight Club, and Beetlejuice, all references the packed audience ate up. The highlights of the night came during the audience participation moments, which included a large audience dance / strip off, and an ingenious set piece where a nerdy guy from the crowd was brought onstage and forced to perform a Grade 5-level reading comprehension test, while one of the dancers did her very best to keep him “distracted.”
Below you can check out a series of photos from the night’s various routines, courtesy of Johan Boutin. We spoke with Suicide Girls co-founder Missy Suicide about the tour on our most recent podcast – be sure to check that out here.
