The Montreal International Jazz Fest announces full indoor lineup, including Erykah Badu, Lucinda Williams, and many more

Erykah Badu will perform June 29 at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier.

The Montreal International Jazz Fest has unveiled the complete programming for 2015’s indoor shows, and once again, it is quite the eclectic lineup. Below are some decidedly non-Jazz highlights of the festival’s 36th edition, grouped by venue. For full scheduling and tickets, visit montrealjazzfest.com.

Événements spéciaux TD (Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier, 7:30pm)
Erykah Badu
makes her highly-anticipated first festival appearance on June 29. Lucinda Williams headlines a solid triple-bill of Americana on July 3, alongside The Mavericks and Justin Townes Earle. Blues legend Taj Mahal returns to the festival on June 27. Classic rock mainstay the Steve Miller Band takes over on June 26, while 80’s nerd-pop legends Huey Lewis and the News ring in Canada Day on July 1.

Rythmes (Metropolis, 8:30 p.m.)
This is often the most exciting series at Jazz Fest, and this year’s lineup is no exception. Naomi Shelton & the Gospel Queens and Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires team up for a night of old-school soul on July 1. Toronto Jazzy trio BadBadNotGood bring their recorded collaboration with Wu Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah to the stage on July 4. Ireland’s singer-songwriter James Vincent McMorrow will keep it moody on July 2, while The Sheepdogs bring their boogie rock on July 3. Porcupine Tree frontman Steven Wilson takes over for two nights, on June 27 and 28.

Nuits Heineken (Club Soda, 10 p.m.)
New York wacky duo Cibo Matto are here on July 1, while the acclaimed Acadian-Canadian singer Lisa Leblanc unleashes her self-proclaimed “folk trash” on July 2.
