Here are the first 10 acts confirmed for Osheaga 2015

2015 marks the 10-year anniversary of Osheaga, and in order to celebrate, the festival promoters teased out 10 acts set to play this summer’s edition, which runs from July 31-August 2 at Montreal’s Parc Jean-Drapeau. The list is a mixture of acts that were already scheduled to play club shows during the festival (Interpol & Run the Jewels, both playing make-up dates for shows postponed this past November), as well as a few curveballs. The full line-up will be unveiled on March 24th at noon, when tickets will also go on-sale. Below is the full list of the acts announced today.

Stromae

Father John Misty

Interpol

Schoolboy Q

Run the Jewels

Milky Chance

Kygo

The Avett Brothers

Marina and the Diamonds

Caribou / Daphni

In other Canadian festival news, the Bonnaroo-affiliated WayHome Music and Arts festival announced the lineup for their inaugural edition this year, taking place at Burl’s Creek Event Grounds, just outside Toronto. Headliners for that include Sam Smith, Kendrick Lamar, alt-J, and Modest Mouse. WayHome takes place July 24-26, just a week before Osheaga, so we may see some of those names creep into the final Osheaga lineup. Check back on March 24th to see!
