Faith No More confirmed for Heavy Montreal 2015

22 years after their last appearance in Montreal, opening up for the doomed Guns N’ Roses & Metallica double bill / riot, Faith No More have been confirmed for this year’s Heavy Montreal. Set to take place August 7-9 at Parc Jean-Drapeau, the influential, genre-defying band are the first act confirmed for the 2015 edition of the festival.

Faith No More reformed in 2009, and have been trickling out info regarding their upcoming album for months. The band released “Motherfucker” as a limited-edition 7″ for Record Store Day this past November, marking the band’s first new music since 1997’s Album of the Year.  Take a listen to the single below, and stay tuned for further Heavy Montreal announcements and ticketing info. In the meantime, be sure to check out our coverage of last year’s edition here and here.
