Radiohead to begin recording this Fall
According to an interview with Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood via BBC 6 Music, the band are set to begin recording their follow-up to 2011’s The King of Limbs this September.
“We’re going to start up in September, playing, rehearsing and recording and see how it’s sounding,” he said.
While that doesn’t sound like a firm commitment, for a band that maintains such strict radio silence as Radiohead, any nugget of information is welcome.
Members of the band have remained busy over the past few years, with Thom Yorke recording and touring with Atoms For Peace, drummer Phil Selway releasing a solo album, and Jonny Greenwood scoring a number of projects, including Paul Thomas Anderson’s The Master.
Below you can check out a clip from Radiohead’s last Montreal show back in 2012, as well as a video of the unreleased “Full Stop” from the same tour. Maybe it will make an appearance on the upcoming LP? We’ll (hopefully) find out soon enough.
